New Parish Council website a massive success - 06/06/2009
Several months ago, Oxford IT Solutions were approached by the Parish Council for Long Crendon who wanted to revamp their website. After several discussions, a brief was set. The brief was to create a clean and simple looking website which was to become the central point of information for the villagers.
Oxford IT Solutions worked very hard with the council to achieve their goal, several months of communication pursued the initial meetings until eventually the final site was complete.
With a wealth of information about the village, the website also has a business directory maintained by the business owners themselves, clubs and society listings, chat forums, crime information, events calendar and much more.
Since the launch of the new website, people have been visiting often and the initial statistics are very promising.
The feedback provided by visitors to the website is encouraging; one person said “What a brilliant website! Thank you who ever put this ambitious project together. What I love about it is how easy to navigate it is, how relevant and useful it is (not jammed with the creators agenda) and how cheerful it is. You've captured the essence of the village.” Another said, “Fantastic idea, and well designed web site.”
Oxford IT Solutions are extremely happy with the final website, as are the villagers and the Parish Council of Long Crendon.

Computer Health Checks - 08/03/2009
As a company who pride themselves in fixing and preventing IT related problems we have recognised that many people can no longer afford to just buy a new computer when an old one stops working reliably, therefore, we have launched a brand new prevention and maintenance service.
Our prevention service is effectively an MOT for your computer or laptop. The service we perform includes; scanning the computer to ensure it is free of viruses and other malicious software which can accumulate over time, ensure the machine is up to date with the latest patches for the operating system and antivirus product, perform a general file cleanup, plus an internal clean to ensure the computer is dust free.  We also do a whole load more as well as provide advice on any upgrades which could enhance the performance further.
The whole service, including the collection and return will cost just £40 per machine.

Web Hosting - Prices Frozen - 07/02/2009
We understand that money is tight at the moment and therefore have decided that our hosting prices shall remain unchanged for another year!
This means, hosting will continue to be £36 per year until April 2010!
With our hosting we do offer a discount for multiple sites per client, for example, hosting for two websites is a cost of £54 per year (2nd site half price). If you host 3 or more sites the total cost for all sites is £54 per year (3rd and subsequent sites free).
New site launched - 15/01/2009
Spot the difference are an independently owned cleaning company operating from Adderbury, Oxford.
They enquired about updates to their existing website and after some discussion decided to go the whole way and have a complete redesign.
The new website is much improved and will be an added asset to their business.

Rugrats and Halfpints gets revamped - 25/08/2008
Although very happy with their website, Rugrats and Halfpints took the plunge and had their site revamped to co-inside with new marketing material, colour schemes etc.
They also took this opportunity to maximise the use of their content such as customer comments and pictures.
As well as revamping the design, they have updated a large amount of their content which has now been restructured for easier navigation.

Oxford IT Solutions sponsors local charity - 03/06/2008
Oxford IT Solutions have recently sponsored ITHACA Charity Ltd by providing them with a brand new website, web updates and a superb web and email hosting package.
Ithaca Charity Ltd is an arts organisation working in Oxfordshire and Berkshire with people with disabilities, (including those with identified mental health needs, learning difficulties or physical and sensory impairments) and older people.
