Yes, a web designer is someone who creates websites and a webmaster is someone who maintains a website. We offer both of these services.

How are 'do it yourself' websites different to your designs?
Our designs are more unique and personalised to the clients needs. Do it yourself packages are generally dull and hard to manage.

What are hosting packages?
Packages that offer different types of hosting. For example some hosting does not allow database support. We offer a variety of hosting packages that we taylor to the need of our clients.

Does my website appear on search engines? If so how?
We aim to add all websites we create to all of the major search engines. It can take some time to become at the top but it does happen.

If I would like my existing domain to be transferred to your hosting is this possible?
Yes. This is a very simple process and is complete in around 24hours after we have all the details of the existing hosting company.

How many pages should my website have?
This is entirely up to you. It depends how much information you want to give people. Generally a website has around 5-6 pages.

How do you know what to put on my website?
We don't. We need you to produce the content that you want on the website and we make it look fancy!

Do you provide help or support after the website has gone live?
Yes. We like to maintain a close relationship with clients after a website has gone live and we are always here to help you.

How long does it take to make my website and get it running?
Generally a website can be built within two weeks but this time scale can vary considerably based on the size and complexity of the website and is assuming that we are in possession of all the content.

Can the website be updated after it has been built? Who does that?
A website can be updated at anytime after it has been built. We do offer an update service or a client can update the website themselves if they are confident enough.

I already have a website but would like it changed, can you change my website or do I need a new one?
We can change your existing website but sometimes it is easier to create a new one.

How easy is it to have an online shop?
Fairly easy but this kind of website can take some time to setup.

How can I ensure that payments from the online shop will come to me safely?
We use an external payment provider for example Pay pal.

Would I benefit from advertising companies such as Amazon on my website?
You can benefit from this and you can earn money from it. But it depends whether you want people to get distracted and leave your website.

Will my website be compatible with all browsers?
We produce websites that are compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer, Fire fox and Netscape, however, they do work on other browsers.

We add a comprehensive statistic tool to every website, this will tell how many people visited the site, which pages they viewed etc.

Transferring a domain is usually free but depends on how long is left on the domain life. If the domain is due for renewal then there will be small fee.

No. The hosting the we use has very little down time but as with any hosting there is no guarantee.

What is a domain and why do I need it?
A Domain is in effect your name on the web. You need a domain as without one people wouldn't be able to find your website.

Do I have to change my email address? if so how?
No you don't need to change your email address. When we setup a domain for you we can setup any number of emails for example you@yourdomain.co.uk. The emails sent to your new address can be forwarded to your existing email address so you don't need to change it or get a new one.

I already have a domain but have no website, can you make a website for that domain?
Absolutely yes! We can create a website for any domain that is hosted on any webspace.

Is my website really available to see world wide?
Yes.

Is there a restriction on what type of content I can have on my website?
The only restrictions that we have are: adult material and illegal material.

How can I ensure that my website looks how I want it to look?
We work closely with the client and you see your website at every stage of its development, if you don't like something we will change it. We will never put a website live until you are totally happy with it.
